Old Royal Naval College

I am a student of civil engineering. Apart from my studies, I visit different famous and fascinating buildings in England. I have visited all the buildings of England but still haven't visited the Old Royal Naval College so this time I decided to go there. I told my friend that I am going to visit. Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester constructed Bella Court here, which Margaret of Anjou renamed Palace of Placentia after seizing it. Bella Court was originally located here. Henry VII had it rebuilt, and from that point on it was more frequently called Greenwich Palace. As a result, it served as the location of birth for the Tudor kings Henry VIII, Mary I, and Elizabeth I. Henry VIII is said to have made it his favorite palace. During the English Civil War, the palace began to fall into disrepair. The palace was finally destroyed in 1694, except t the John Webb building, which was still under construction.
